Dear colleagues,

I have pleasure to announce the release of Peranso 1.30. This new version
features -amongst others- a Lightcurve Workbench, that provides
sophisticated tools for lightcurve analysis. It comprises functions for :

	- Binning (data reduction). Binning divides the observations into
groups or bins by averaging.
	- Polynomial fitting, allowing to fit a standard curve to an entire
lightcurve (or to a segment)
	- minimum / maximum finding, which is especially useful for the
analysis of eclipsing variable stars
	- ...

A full description with example screen shots is available here :

Peranso is available free of charge to AAVSO members (version 1.20). A fully
functional trial version, with an operational time limit, can be downloaded
as well. Registered Peranso users can directly upgrade from their existing
Peranso version to the newest release.

Best regards,
Tonny
