[Aavso-photometry] Conversion script for Arne's .DAT files?

Hey, all. I'm about to write a Perl script to convert Arne's .DAT 
file format to something a little easier to use for myself. Basically 
it will convert his coordinate system to "hh mm ss..." and convert 
his color indices to full magnitudes (and update the error). 
But it seems to me that someone out there may have done this 
already. If you have a perl, python or similar script that does this would 
you mind sending it to me? No spreadsheets please, I need 
Unix scripts so this can be automated. If I don't get an 
answer and you would like a copy of such a program 
send me a private note and I'll send it to you when it is 
done.
