[Aavso-photometry] Talk of burn out (and a wrap up of recent campaigns)

The AAVSO campaigns recently have mimicked what CBA does all the time.
CBA has a half dozen or so stars we can work on -or not- all the time.
It is preferred that a single observer concentrates on one star during
that season. Indeed, some of the stars are of interest to both groups
so both use the data. I share all my CBA data with AAVSO anyway. I
have worked virtually every clear night for the past several years
doing photometry on stars for CBA. There is always SOMETHING to work
on, as long as you want to. These campaigns have the advantage of
getting your name on a published paper as long as you submit a useable
amount of data.

Recently my health -and the weather- have prevented me from working on
my stars, but I am anxious to return to collecting data. I've not
burned out yet! The reward -my name as co-author on the papers- keeps
me going. Maybe if I didn't get that recognition, I could get burned
out. Who knows?
