Greg,

I tried yo use the meade reducer - it works well, but the the field 
illumination is very uneven, even for a small field. Besides, you normally 
want a larger star image than the 3.3 reducer will provide. Ideally, you 
would not need any reducer, or if the field is too small, you can try the 
0.63 meade reducer, which is much better from the uniformity point of 
view.
