[Aavso-photometry] Differential extinction

I have been wondering recently about whether it's safe to neglect 
differential extinction. Like many things, some time it is, some time it 
isn't. To determine which is the case, i made a graph of differential 
airmass vs airmass for various star separations, which is available at:
