Hi Aaron,
Maybe a very naive question : HD 80607 seems to be a G5, V 9.17 star,
very similar to HD 80606 (G5, V 9.06).
Separation between the two is 21,1" according to WDS. It means close to
7 pixels with my 8" SCT and F/3.3 reducer but
up to 24 pixels without the reducer.
Why can't we use HD 80607 as a comp star for HD 80606 transit search ?
Thanks,
Jean-Luc
