Hi,

I tested a pair of programs too.

01. Radu Corlan's gcx version 0.8.7 http://astro.corlan.net/gcx

Using mean stack:

DATE-OBS= '2005-01-02T04:49:49.25'
EXPTIME = 80.000 / EXPOSURE TIME IN SECONDS

Additional program report:
Exposure start time JD=2453372.7017274 (2005-02-02T04:50:29)

The exposure times and date are calculated as follows:
( http://astro.corlan.net/gcx/ChangeLog )

	   * first, the center of each exposure (DATE_OBS-EXPTIME/2) is
	     calculated;
	   * the weighted mean of all exposure centers is used for the
	     central time of the equivalent exposure;
	   * the sum of the individual exposure times is used for the
	     equivalent exptime;
	   * the time of the output frame is set at equivalent center
	     minus 1/2 of the equivalent exptime.

02. AIP4WIN version 1.4.25

Using AutoProcess Multiple Images Stack:

DATE-OBS= '2005-01-02T04:51:05'
TIME-OBS= '04:51:05'
EXPTIME = '20.000000000000000'

Best regards,

Pertti
