Dear all,

Tonight is providing another opportunity to observe a TrES-1 transit from
Europe. Sky conditions over Belgium are relatively good (clear, but some
haze). Somewhat more than 1 hour ago (at 20h38m UT - Sep 4, 2004), I pointed
one of the CBA Belgium Observatory telescopes at TrES-1's parent star and
started an unfiltered time-series photometry session. The other telescope
meanwhile is tracing down the light modulations of V1315 Aql.

The start of the transit (ingress) should happen any time now. I will post
updates of the transit lightcurve at regular time intervals on my website,
during the entire transit. This will allow all of you to follow this event,
even if it isn't visible from your location.

The first light curve will be posted on my web site in just a few minutes.

Best regards,
Tonny
