[Aavso-photometry] MaximDL Scripting

It is hard to get your arms around scripting.  If 
you are looking for details on how MaxIm mehods, 
events and properties work the help file is about 
as good as it gets.  Go to Contents>Scripting and 
look up the specific method, event or property.

I find it best to try it out in a small script to 
see if I can get it to work .  Then the MaxIm list 
is a good place to ask specific questions. It 
isn't very productive to ask very general questions.

If you want more general info about scripting I 
could give you a couple of book titles that might 
help.  Maybe someone has some better ideas.
