I manged to get an integration started of this crowded
and difficult field about 12/23 UT 11:30. I had a
very difficult time identifying the target and had to
download a DSS image of this field from Aladin to aid
in identification along with the AAVSO charts.

Moon light was also a factor.

Here is what I reported: 18.38;Err: .027; CCDV; M

This was a 24 integrations at 60 Seconds ea. using the
SBIG T&A feature of CCDOPS; 12 " SCT, f/10 and a SBIG
ST-9E, FYI.

I would suggest, for those that are able, that the
time be stretched between 30 and 45 minutes of
integration, given the moon light present and the
dimness of this object, if using similar equipment and
f ratio.

Obviously, it is also a very late riser, for those of
us in the US.

CS and Happy Holidays
