[Aavso-photometry] {MPML} Henden/Warner Photometry Workshop

The Palmer Divide Observatory is planning a one day photometry workshop on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at
the Northwoods Resort in Big Bear, CA.

The morning session will be conducted by Dr. Arne Henden who will give practical advice on
producing high quality photometry, including techniques at the telescope and on the reduction
process. The afternoon session will be conducted by myself and be a set of hands-on exercises in
basic astrometry, photometry, and reductions (bring your laptops!)

This workshop is not a part of the Society for Astronomical Sciences meeting to be held the
following two days (May 25/26) at the same location but, of course, it's hoped that those who are
planning to attend one will attend the other. The list of pros and well-known amateurs planning to
attend the SAS meeting is pretty impressive!!
