Hi Pamela et al,

Just a friendly reminder, we were planning to get a report of the meeting we
had in Cambridge and an action list or the like together, so we could inform
those who were not there how and where we are going. Are we getting closer
to seeing that?

I just finished going through my notes and it looks as if it boils down to
three items-

1) Collect and refine PowerPoint presentations that can be distributed free
on the EPO web pages.
-add notes and content to existing ppts
-check and verify copyrights of images, text, etc.
-have two or three people evaluate the ppts from a non-observer/non-AAVSO
member viewpoint for suggestions
-organize all these resources and put them online

First files to be in by November 25, 2007.

Questions-
Who do we send them to at this point? Pamela?
How/when will they be distributed to the other people to view and evaluate?
When should this be done so changes can be made and we can actually get them
online?

2) Create and populate a "Speakers Bureau"
-enlist speakers
-create online form for speakers to give necessary information
-create online form for inquiries from educators, after school mentors,
parents, students, star party organizers, etc...

I don't have a due date in my notes, although end of November comes to mind.

Questions-
What is the due date for the first round of speakers info?
Who/where do we send this info to?

3) Re-design and launch the new and improved, more exciting EPO pages
-Framework to be in place by December 2, 2007
-Launch in early 2008

Care to fill in the blanks or expand on any of this?
What do you need and when, Pamela?
Can we draft some other volunteer help from this list?
